NaNoWriMo Conclusion
With November, and subsequently NaNoWriMo, behind us now I am able to once again focus more on the posts I want to explore here on Diabolical Minds. I also wanted to provide some exciting news: I met, and exceeded, the goal for NaNoWriMo! I would love to say I would share some of the story here, but honestly a lot of it is pure crap that I’m going to have a lot of fun rewriting. There are some great pieces as well, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t like the idea of posting pieces without the full story available to understand those pieces.
I have no idea how long it will take me to get the second draft completed. My lack of time to do much of anything beyond work, classes, and writing over the course of November has me wanting to take a couple of weeks to relax. I do plan to go ahead and start on my first revision by the end of the year, however, and maybe I’ll get to a point where I’ll share a portion of it here. No promises by any means though!
On to blog-related things:
First, on comments. I’d love to see more of course, but lately I have not been able to respond as quickly as I would like. I’m planning to go back through posts now that NaNoWriMo is over and respond to the comments I haven’t had a chance to respond to, so if you are one of the few that tracks those you’ll start to see some things on older posts appearing. Oh, and did I mention I’d love to see more?
Second, on topics. It is tough to try to keep information useful when so much has already been covered. I’ll be providing more “editorial” type posts for now most likely, although I plan to follow-up on a couple of half-written guides I put together and, hopefully, get them posted. We’ll see if I can beat Cataclysm on those or not. I would also like to hear what you all want to know or read more about. Suggestions are always welcome, and as long as I have enough knowledge on the subject to respond adequately, or have someone available who does and would like to share, I’ll make sure I get those done as well as the topics I have in mind.
Third, on random musings and general statements that may or may not have anything to do with anything. I forgot how enjoyable the Harry Potter movies were, having now gone back and re-watched them all. Lie to Me is perhaps one of the greatest TV shows I have seen since House, though The Shield and Sons of Anarchy are quite high on the list as well. Biology sucks (in general, it isn’t difficult it’s just boring). Next semester should be a blast based on the classes I’m registered for. I’m considering looking in the Boston area for employment (I don’t really know anything about the area, or what would be available, or really much of anything else about it) and would love some information (or even better if a headhunter / recruiter happened to be interested in my resume and offering assistance). I’m in Georgia by the way, just in case anyone wondered why the thought of Boston is such a “big deal” for me. Coffee is absolutely wonderful, especially when you find a great coffee shop (Columbus Coffee Company for those who are in the area). Paladin tanking has been a lot of fun, time to slowly put together a Holy set while I’m progressing into raiding on the Pally for tanking upgrades.
And finally, something to be proud of:

Grats on getting it done! That’s such a great accomplishment, even IF you know there’s editing to do.

Thank you!
Congrats on NaNo! Personally, I look forward to more RP and editorial posts from you.
Oh, and I’m going to try and stop slackin’ myself ;P

Grats!
Now I know why haven’t seen as much of you on recently. Although I’m still impressed you pulled it off along with everything else you’ve got going on.
How do you find time to sleep?
@Syrana
Hopefully I’ll be able to focus more on those now. I have a couple planned
@Fuji
Yeah, I’m actually quite surprised I pulled it off myself. And sleep… what’s that?
