An Intro and Server Move: Prognosis Says Hello
Bal’a dash, malanore. I am Prognosis, a Master in the Blood Knight Order and Champion of Silvermoon. As of late the Order has received calls for assistance from our brethren of the Whisperwind Chapter, and with the blessing of Lady Liadrin herself I transferred my duties from <Alliance by Day> of the Hellscream Chapter to join <Viridian Might> in their battles against Arthas and the Scourge.
Relocation is an interesting thing for my kind. Friendships and trust among comrades in arms must be rebuilt, and yet we always know that the Blood Knight Order, regardless of which chapter we join, is our home. This move should prove to be an excellent turn of events for us against all of the dark forces that inhabit Azeroth. My experience protecting those who fight by my side is, I hope, invaluable, as well as the skills in dealing out swift retribution against our foes that I have learned over my tenure in the Hellscream Chapter.
My new comrades seem warm and accepting of my addition to their ranks thus far… even those who prefer the dark or arcane arts to the undeniable superiority of the Light. There is one Tauren I am not so certain of yet, though he is the one who leads the forces of <Viridian Might> in their crusade against the evil in Azeroth and the weak Alliance forces. I suppose only time will tell if this Tauren is as strange as he seems.
Regardless, I’ll be showing up here more frequently now that I have finally been introduced, mostly to share stories of battles or interesting tidbits of information more than likely, but with all that I have learned I’ll probably share some of the tips and tricks I have gathered over time as well.

Oh yeah, and is this not one of the best looking shields you’ve seen? I mean, I don’t hold any love for the Forsaken and their vile existence, but they certainly have one nice looking crest!

Despite your suspicions, in time you will come to understand that the issues of light and dark are, and always have been, matter of perspective, as well as a matter of whose hands are exchanging knives behind your back. There will be a night of blood and thunder… fighting alongside those who are with you against all manner of strife—and there will come a moment when the truth of this is savagely clear.

Now, now. The Forsaken ARE our allies, dear. Let’s not forget that they have no more love for Arthas than the rest of us do. And they certainly can’t be held responsible for their existence. They didn’t ASK to be turned into undead zombies, after all.
Also technically the Royal Crest of Lordaeron was the creation of the humans who originally lived there. Plus I believe you got that from Arthas himself, when we had to help him “purge” Strathholme… /shudder
If it wasn’t so important to keep the balance of time… That was surely one of our least tasteful adventures.

Thought I’d let you know that shield actually has nothing to do with the current Forsaken outside of many of them being former residents of Lordaeron and current occupants of Undercity. That shield would more than likely be an old human shield that a live resident of Lordaeron would’ve worn proudly. =)
And on the note of the “purging of Strat”. There have been enough threads on the WoW forums about whether or not it should have been done. I’d concede it was the right thing because there is no current cure for the disease. Only death. Why risk infecting the rest of your people? Quarantine wouldn’t have worked. But that’s a topic for a fun blog post.

Ah yes, the purging of Stratholme… one of the better things we have done when dealing with the Keepers of Time. After all, while we were there the inhabitants had already transformed into scourge. The only downside was being forced to mask my true identity and have that vile human illusion that I can’t get rid of cast on me…
