Diabolical Minds: Meet Sideshow!

2

Hello all. I am Sideshow, the more skeletal half of Sideshow & Syrana. You’ve already met Syrana.

I’ve been a connoisseur of video games since I was a wee lad. If you want to get technical, I started gaming on my parent’s Texas Instruments TI-99 4A “computing device” and also on our Commodore 64. “Hunt The Wumpus” FTW! Am I right?

My entrance into console gaming was when my older brother purchased the epic Nintendo Entertainment System. We spent hours and hours playing Super Mario Brothers and Metroid. I was a Nintendo boy, but Syrana was a Sega girl and we fight constantly about that. (Not really.) From there I remember getting the Super Nintendo and then we bought the sad Nintendo 64 system. I’m not saying it was bad, it wasn’t, but when we had one, it had a horrible game selection.

That was when I entered the Playstation age and everything changed. It extended into the PS2, which was probably the best system I had ever owned…up until I bought the Xbox 360. So far, I’ve had the most fun using this system. I do also own a PS3 and a Nintendo Wii, but I use them slightly less than the 360.

Along with the 360, my main gaming device is my PC. I’ve also been gaming on the PC since we bought our first Tandy Sensation from Radio Shack with the 1x CD-ROM and 33MHz processor. When I think back to then, I still think of The 7th Guest.

Hopefully, here on Diabolical Minds, I will bring you knowledge of the ancient ways of console and PC gaming. Check with me for reviews of some of the more recent console and PC games that some of you have yet to play. I’ll try to keep my reviews fair and balanced since I know everyone has a different play-style.

I’m up against some big names here with Samodean and Byaghro, but I’ll do my best. (I can handle Syrana. She doesn’t scare me.) I hope to give you the information you’re looking for!
