Wow, it’s almost hard to believe I can finally have my own place to speak my mind.  I’m sure some of you are puzzled by this and thinking “But, I’ve heard of Sideshow & Syrana before.”

Yeah, well, that’s mostly the outlet for my IRL avatar to talk about me behind my back and anything else she pleases.

Here, at Diabolical Minds, I get a chance to give you an inside look of the true life of a World of Warcraft avatar… I mean, of my true life within Azeroth.

So what should you know about me from the get-go?  Let’s see… *taps chin*

Well, as the title indicates, my name is Syrana.  I’m a young Sin’dorei female that has an affinity for magic.  And power.  And money.

Mostly magic.

And power.

I started dabbling in the dark arts when I was a young child and summoned my first demon, Cholop, a naughty little imp, much to the horror of my mother.  She assumed it was related to her drinking too much during Brewfest, as I was born during the Harvest Festival.

But, alas, no matter how well cared for I was or how much she surrounded me with “good” magic, I was attracted to the ways of the warlock.  I started my training young and have worked to finely hone my skills of corruption and pain infliction.  I’ve since become the master of several demons, whom you are likely to meet throughout your continuous visits here.

So, I hope you will join me and enjoy my column Syrana’s Soulstone, which shall appear twice a month around here.  If I am so moved, I may crash the party more often.  Besides hearing about my adventures and views on things (I mean, who better to complain about changes to my spellbook than moi, right?) I’m quite open to answering questions as well.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think my latest batch of chocolate covered soulcookies are ready to be pulled from the oven.
